Worcester City Women's Club were formed by Vicky Andrews in 2002 and played in the Kidderminster & District County League for three seasons. In their first season the team won the inaugural league and completed the double by winning the League knock out cup. The 2004/2005 season saw the ladies finish runners up to Malvern Town and retain the league knockout cup for the third consecutive season.

Promotion to the West Midlands Women's Regional League (Division 1 South) at the end of the 2004/2005 season was a fitting tribute to manager Vicky Andrews who stepped down after three years in management. She was delighted to end her spell in management such a high note, and has since enjoyed concentrating on her playing career. Ex youth academy player Paul Hennessey stepped in to the managers role at the beginning of 2005-6.

In the season 2004-5 the club formed a reserve team Worcester City Athletic managed by Jett Reid. The team played alongside and against our women's firsts in the Kidderminster & District County League. The team went from strength to strength and finished a well deserved 5th place at the end of the season.

First team promotion to the West Midlands enabled the reserves to continue to play in the Kidderminster County League under the name of Worcester City Reserves and the end of the season 2005-6 saw the ladies win a double cup competion - the Kidderminster Hospital Cup and Kidderminster & District Knockout cup (a fourth consecutive win for the club)

In June 2005 further development saw the womens club expand to include two girl's teams from the Worcester City Development Club. In the season 2005-6 the girls teams played in the U16 and U14 age groups in the Central Warwickshire Premier Leagues and Mercian Junior Leagues respectively. In the season 2004-5 some of the U16 players were part of the team which won the Stourport & District U14 & U15 leagues, the Stourport League Cup and the Stourport 5 a side tournament a well-deserved honour for the girls.
